In October 2011, Foderingham joined Swindon Town on loan, initially as a temporary solution to cover for an injured goalkeeper. However, he conceded a mere six goals in 15 appearances while amassing nine clean sheets.

Swindon Town made his move permanent in January 2012. Foderingham played a pivotal role in Swindon Town's triumphant 2011-12 campaign, which saw them clinch the League Two title.

Foderingham earned him recognition as a member of the 2012-13 PFA Team of the Year for League One and the Football League Two Golden Glove award for both the 2011-12 season and the month of April 2012.

Rangers

In July 2015, Foderingham secured a three-year contract with Rangers. He established himself as the club's first-choice goalkeeper and played a pivotal role in the club's successful Scottish Championship campaign.
